Srinagar, Feb 15 (KNO): The footpath outside SKIMS, Soura hospital, has turned into a makeshift marketplace, leaving pedestrians to struggle for space.
The locals have questioned whether the footpath is meant for the public or for vendors.
Residents and pedestrians from the area told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that street vendors have occupied the entire stretch, making it difficult for patients and attendants to navigate.
“This is a hospital, not a bazaar. Patients on wheelchairs and stretchers have no space to move,” said a local and appealed the administration to ascertain how the vendors are being allowed to run their business by occupying huge space meant for the public use—(KNO)
